Whenever I see you it is Christmas,
Colours around me: red, green and gold.
You smile at me and I hear carols singing
I feel the snow even when it isn’t cold.
Near you I smell sparkling wine,
You light up like the most beautiful Christmas tree.
In your eyes I see jingle bells and candles
An angel brought me a gift, so I could dream free.
Each love song I wrote to you is a Christmas card,
In the forest of my deep feelings every tree is green.
I see lights and banners along my street outside
Each one tells me I still dream of evergreen.
